Medical lamps are required to give very precise light to suit different applications such as in operation theatres and laboratories. Other uses include sterilization with UV lights, bilirubin therapy, dental curing, microscopy etc. Specialized halogen and discharge lamps are used to serve these applications. |

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection technology has been the star performer in water and air treatment over the past two decades, due in part to its ability to provide treatment without the use of harmful chemicals. UV represents wavelengths that fall between visible light and x-ray on the electromagnetic spectrum. The UV range can be further divided into UV-A, UV-B, UV-C, and Vacuum-UV. According to the diagnosis and treatment of the Covid-19 guideline, Indoor spaces should be disinfected with UV light with an intensity of over 1.5 watts per square meter. UV-C LED Technology - The Next Revolution
